Morgan is a doctoral level counseling student at The University of Wisconsin at Madison. She earned her MA in Counseling Psychology from The University of Texas at Austin. She has been active in TSTAR since 2012, and is grateful for the technology that enables her to stay involved with the team. Morgan is interested in the manifestations of cissexism and heterosexism in well-meaning mental health professionals, specifically as relates to interactions with clients with multiple minority identities. Her past research has focused primarily on genderqueer and nonbinary identities. When her nose is not buried in James Baldwin essays, Morgan enjoys hiking and cooking (but not at the same time).
